ITINERARY:

Day 01 : Chandigarh

Arrive Chandigarh Railway Station. On arrival meet and greet by our representative who will take you to the hotel. Start your city tour with the blessings of Nada Sahib Gurudwara; it is located in Panchkula on the bank of river Ghagar. At the time of battle with Mughals, Guru Gobind Singh along with his victorious fellow Sikh warriors had stayed here, while on their way back. The follower of Guru Gobind Singh ji, named Nadu Shah given them a warm welcome. After that Grurdwara named after him. After that visit Amb Sahib Gurudwara, Guru HarRai, the seventh Guru of Sikhs visited this place to meet his discipline, Bhai Kooram. The unique thing about Gurudwara is that it has a mango tree, which bears the fruit even during winters, as commanded by Guru Ji.these mangoes are distributed as Prasad to the Sangat. Return back to hotel. Overnight stay at hotel in Chandigarh.

Day 02 : Anandpur Sahib (Hola Mohalla)

After breakfast, drive to Anandpur Sahib from Chandigarh. Hola Mahalla is a Sikh Olympics event which begins on the first day of the lunar month of Chet in the Nanakshahi calendar. It most often falls in March, and sometimes coincides with the Sikh New Year. The event lasts for a week, and consists of camping out and enjoying various displays of fighting prowess and bravery, followed by kirtan, music, and poetry. For meals, which is an integral part of the Sikh institution (Gurdwara), visitors sit together in pangats (Queues) and eat vegetarian food of the Langars.The event concludes with a long, military-style procession near Takht Sri Keshgarh Sahib, one of the five seats of temporal authority of the Sikhs

It is one of the most important sacred places of the Sikhs and is closely linked with their religious tradition and history. The festival is celebrated for three consecutive days, in which members of Sikh community display their physical strength by performing dare-devil acts like bareback horse-riding, standing erect on two speeding horses, Gatka (mock encounters), tent pegging etc. This is followed by music and poetry competition to lighten the charged up atmosphere. Hola Mohalla is actually an annual fair that is organised in a large scale at Anandpur Sahib in Punjab on the day following the festival of Holi. Practise of holding a fair of this kind was initiated by Guru Gobind Singh, the tenth Sikh guru. Purpose of the fair was to physically strengthen the Sikh community by holding military exercises and mock battles.

Day 03 : Anandpur Sahib (Hola Mohalla)

Full day free for own activities Gurudwara Darshan, Volunteers work, later drive to Chandīgarh; Overnight stay.

Day 04 : Departure

After breakfast, transfer to Chandigarh Railway Station or Airport.
